Cary, NC – Recent vehicle break-ins have been solved thanks to the investigative efforts of the Town of Cary Police Department. Derek C. Holland, 23, of Cary, North Carolina, has been charged with one count Felony Larceny, four counts Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle and two counts Misdemeanor Larceny. He is being held at the Wake County Public Safety Center.

Citizens in the Cary Parkway and Waldo Rood Boulevard area of Cary are encouraged to be on alert for home burglaries. On February 7, a citizen reported seeing an unidentifiable man in the crawlspace of his parents’ home. On February 28, a resident reported a burglary in progress…

Cary Police have released this to CaryCitizen and ask for your help. Based on video surveillance and a photo taken near the scene of the crime, police are looking for two white males driving a gray, older model pick-up truck.

On Sunday, January 10, the Town of Cary received a report of larceny by an unlocked garage side door in the Lochmere area. The items were taken during the overnight hours from an occupied home.

The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in apprehending a suspect who robbed the SunTrust Bank located inside the Harris Teeter grocery store at 2741 NC Highway 55 in Cary on December 17, 2009. At approximately 6:30 p.m., the suspect approached a teller, displayed what turned out to be a plastic toy handgun, and demanded money. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he left the store in an unknown direction.
