Morrisville, NC – Developer CASTO and partner 1st Carolina Properties of Cary, N.C., announced on Tuesday that Target has purchased 10-acres of its Phase I development at Park West Village, a 100-acre mixed-use project to be located at Cary Parkway and Chapel Hill Road in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Cary, NC – Spotted another community garden in my travels around Cary. This one’s at the front of the parking lot by Whole Foods in Waverly Place. All the food is donated to the Inter-Faith Shuttle. They even donate extra produce you might have in your own garden.

Cary, NC – To the casual observer, it just looked like a bunch of kids running around in the sunshine, practicing soccer drills with a young coach. But a closer look revealed the tie-dyed shirts were in Cyrillic. And the coach was barking orders in English and Ukranian. Turns out the coach was Railhawks player Andriy Budnyy. And the kids: Ukrainian orphans.
