Cary, NC- Weather permitting- the Cary Tennis Park will host the 25th annual Polar Doubles tennis Tournament this weekend. Beginning Friday night around 5pm and running through Saturday and Sunday, Adult and Junior tennis players will compete in this season opener for the Park.
The park will be serving up some hot soup and long sleeved T-shirts to this open event. Anyone can come and play: residents, non-residents, young and old. There will be Mixed Doubles, Men’s, Women’s , and Juniors (aged 10-18), girls and boys categories. Winners will be awarded on Sunday after competing through the entire field of competitors in their category.
Andy Skakel, tournament director, says this should be a fun event for all. Entry to play is $20. Tennis Center season pass holders are admitted free. For more info or to register, see Cary Tennis Park.
