Traffic Snarls Continue on SW Cary Parkway

Traffic delays continue on S.W. Cary Parkway as road crews dig up and repave the street.
The main construction activity is between Old Apex Road and High House. The left lane has been closed while temporary road signs and detours are continually rearranged to follow the work crews.
According to the Town of Cary, this phase of the $8.1 million dollar project will improve 5 miles of Southwest Cary Parkway from Kildaire Farm Road to High House Road. Work is scheduled to be completed in the autumn.
Drivers should exercise caution or plan an alternate route while construction continues.
